4/8/05 - Congratulations to the Wilton Family YMCA Wahoos for winning the Combined Men's and Women's Team Swimming Trophy. They also were the top scoring team in the Men's division. The Sarasota YMCA won the Women's Swimming trophy. The New Canaan won all three trophies -- Men's, Women's and Combined for the Diving Championship. Check out all of the results and scores from the menu to the left.

4/8/05 - Correction - The scores posted for Day 3 that were posted on Thursday evening were incorrect and did not reflect the Womens' 100 Free. The currently posted scores are correct.

4/7/05 - Another day of terrific swimming has completed. Tonight Patrick Shirk, Pottstown Family YMCA in Pennsylvania set a new National Record in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 1:44.25 (old record: 1:44.38). And Ashley Jones, Joliet YMCA, Illinois is our first 4 Event Champion of the meet with wins in the 100 Backstroke, 200 IM, 400 IM and 200 Backstroke!

4/7/05 - The Prelim Heat Sheet for Friday has a correction. The Men's 1650 (Event 42) should start at 10:44 AM.

4/6/05 - I guess the evening must have been getting a little boring for the Wilton Family YMCA (Connecticut) Men's 400 Free Relay Team. So they decided to get the crowd on their feet as they broke the record (old record: 3:03.68) with a time of 3:03.14! Andrew Trepp, Philip Baity, Robert Hannigan and Jeffrey Sudbury of course won the event and will receive their medals on Thursday.

4/6/05 - Second day of the meet, Felicia Lee, Monclair YMCA, New Jersey, once again proved that even at 12 years old she IS and will be a star! In the 100 Fly prelims in the morning she SHATTERED the YMCA National Age Group record of 58.15 (which has stood since 1982) with a time of 56.88 going into finals in 5th place. But again, Felicia saved some of her best stuff for later, in finals she broke her own record with a time of 56.16 and finished in 2nd Place. Way to go Felicia!

4/5/05 - Our news of the day? 12 year old Felicia Lee from Montclair YMCA in New Jersey tied for 8th place in prelims in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.74. WOW! Well, she wasn't done wowing us - in the swim-off she swam a 2:06.45 to not only give her that 8th place spot, but to also break the YMCA National Age Group record of 2:07.12. Her place at finals -- 7th!
